Flying on autopilot

As I look back over this past week, it is actually a bit of a blur. It was a get-it-done on-the-run kind of week. It was a great week filled with joy and stress. Albeit mostly good stress, it was nonetheless stress and I defaulted into mindless eating. What’s really interesting is that I was several days into eating on autopilot before I recognized it.

What I’m celebrating is that in no way feels like failing because there is nothing to fail at. I’m no longer trying to stick to a constructed plan. I don’t feel disappointed or sorry; therefore, there’s no need to analyze what went “wrong.”

When I become aware again, I simply make intentional choices that are right for me. Sounds like a life well lived, doesn’t it?
